Quit Smoking Timeline
If you’re a smoker, you may have heard of a quit smoking timeline already. Your doctors or even your friends may have already told you about it. Its a process wherein your body goes back to the way it was before you started smoking. In a way, the timeline is the only solution that is effective enough to work. Some of the other ways that have been provided to help you with the process are not as helpful in terms of benefits. In other cases, they only mask the habit of smoking rather than give it the process of healing once more.
The quit smoking timeline is a structural way of indicating when the body can actually be in the process of recovery. For instance, your body immediately starts the process of healing from the first hour that you have stopped smoking already. Generally, your heart rate will decrease and you will feel a heating sensation on your limbs. This sounds easier than what it really is, but the withdrawal stage that occurs after 2 days will be the biggest test. You will experience the same addicting urge to once again light up a cigarette and smoke. If you get past this, then its going to be clear skies from that point onwards. As much as the process will work, it will take an absolutely and even excruciatingly long time for the process to work. Even though changes already occur in the first hour, the whole quit smoking timeline takes as long as 15 years to actually work.
With that said, it is important that you do the necessary steps to undergo the timeline. Ideally, its best that you go through the process with someone who is very close to you. If your girlfriend or wife also has an addiction to smoking, enduring the timeline with her will make the whole process easier. Its great because you get to have someone to rely when at some point, the process of stopping the habit truly gets hard. Another way help you out is by getting some professional psychiatric help. This will help you analyze everything that you have been doing and perhaps give you the much needed advice to stop the habit during the timeline. Overall, you only need to think about the people you are bound to hurt. Do you really want to leave this world prematurely just because you cannot last through the quit smoking timeline?
